About Us
We are a family owned and operated business and have been in operation since 2009 in Fort Worth, Texas. I have been a firefighter with the City of Fort Worth for the last 27 years. My firehouse is located on the South Side of Fort Worth in the TCU area. I have been married for 28 years and have a son and a daughter.
I started the business when my son started high school to help him earn money to pay for his truck, gas, insurance, activities, etc. I also wanted to teach both my children the "in's and out's" of running a business along with customer service. Both of the kids worked in the business through high school and college delivering, scheduling, etc. We started the business with 2 machines and now have over 30 with a branch in Destin, Florida for Texan's on vacation!
My son went on the graduate from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's in Business and as a proud member of Squadron 4 in the Corps of Cadets. WHOOP! He is now married to a beautiful Aggie and is a Lieutenant in the Marine Corps. OORAH!! He is learning to fly the C-130 will be getting his wings later this year.
My daughter will graduate from Texas A&M in May of 2020 with a BSN in Nursing. WHOOP! She is married to a wonderful Aggie is working at a local hospital in the Cardiac ICU. She still helps out with the business sometimes when needed.
Since both of the kids have moved on with their lives and careers I have added 2 business partners, one a Fort Worth Firefighter and one who owns a Wedding Bartending Business. Together we started a second branch, Destin Firefighter Margaritas, and have been in business since 2015. Back in 2014 we came to Destin for a relaxing vacation and brought one of our machines from Texas. We had a house full, 12 adults and 14 kids ages 10-17. We wore the machine out over our 7 day vacation and saved a lot of money in the process. We enjoyed frozen drinks poolside and at the beach for our entire stay at just a fraction of the cost of purchasing them from restaurants and bars. We decided to give others the opportunity to enjoy the savings also and now have a thriving business in Destin!
