Does Firefighter Margaritas supply liquor or alcoholic beverages?
No, we do not. You can purchase alcohol to add to the mix if you choose. We will include a 10% coupon to a local liquor store that is reusable and good for your entire stay.
Can I supply my own mix?
No, our mix is made exclusively for our Frozen Drink Machines and settings. Other brands of mix will cause damage to the machine.
How much is additional mix?
The first mix is complimentary. Each additional mix is $20. We will bring as many bottles of mix as you think you will need and you will only be charged for what you use at the end of your stay.
Do I need ice?
No ice is needed! The mix is made for the machine and will freeze to a slushy consistency.
Do I have to pay for extra bottles of mix up front?
No, extra mixes will be charged at the end of your stay at $20 each. We will bring as many mixes and flavors as you think you will want and you are only charged for what you use.
Do the machines use a regular house outlet or plug?
Yes, the machines will run on a regular house outlet or plug. They require a 3 prong electrical outlet on a 15 amp circuit. NOTE: Nothing else can be on the circuit because the machines pull about 13 amps so you can't have other things pulling electricity from that breaker.
Can I use an extension cord?
You can only use the 25 foot extension cord we provide if needed. Smaller "orange" extension cords will not work and will melt or cause damage to the machine which you will be responsible for. Double-hopper machines will not work outdoors.
What is the cancellation policy?
$100 of total payment will be kept for cancellations greater than 14 days prior to arrival. Refunds will not be given for cancellations within 14 days.
Can I request a certain type of machine?
Machine type may be requested but not guaranteed. The type of machine is determined by the property and availability.
Can the machine be carried upstairs?
No, the machines weigh about 200 pounds. We are able to "pop" the cart up single steps but cannot get up stairs. No second stories unless elevator access.
Can I move the machine to another location?
The machine must remain at the delivery location. The machines weigh 200 pounds and may cause injury/damage if relocated. Machine must also remain on cart.
Is delivery/pick up guaranteed for my arrival/departure day?
We do our best to deliver on Saturdays and pick up on Saturdays during season. However, a Sunday delivery or Friday pick up may be required due to traffic on Saturdays during season. We do not deliver or pick up on holidays so arrangements can be made for earlier or later days.
